Includes the mounting adapter, front cover, and all stainless-steel mounting hardware. The adapter is 3D printed with heat and UV resistant ASA plastic.
How to Order
I’m currently sold out, this page is here as for reference for install instructions for those who have previously purchased them.
Installation Instructions
You will need the following tools to install the bracket:
- Phillips screw driver
- 7/16″ wrenches
- 2.5mm hex key
![]() ![]() | Remove the screw securing the plastic ball to the bracket of the screen. |
![]() ![]() | Remove the 4 screws securing the bracket to the back of the screen. Do not remove the bracket. |
![]() | With the stand-offs on the adapter facing you, insert the 4 bolts, with washers, through the slots of the adapter. |
![]() | Place the adapter over the screen’s mounting bracket, so that the mounting post of the bracket fits into the matching recess in the adapter. The heads of the bolts will face the rear of the screen. NOTE, the slots for the bolts are offset, allowing you to rotate the position of the adapter 180 degrees based on your preference of how high or low you want the screen in relation to your mounting bar. |
![]() | Using a 2.5mm hex key, begin threading the 4 hex socket screws through the small holes in the adapter into the bracket. Ensure all 4 are threaded into the back of the screen and only tighten to where the socket screws begin to contact the adapter. |
![]() | Once all socket screws threaded into the screen, begin tightening the screws in a crisscross pattern. Tighten until the standoffs of the adapter make contact with the back of the screen. Do not over tighten. |
![]() | Use a Phillips screwdriver to install the short 4mm machine screw through the adapter and into the bracket where the plastic ball used to be secured. |
![]() | Place the split tubing over your navigation mounting bar. |
![]() ![]() | Place the U brackets over the mounting bar and onto the bolts, secure with the lock nuts. Only thread the locknuts on enough to keep the brackets from falling off at this point. |
![]() ![]() | Use a 7/16″ wrench and or / socket to tighten the lock nuts. Ensure the screen is aligned how you want it before final tightening. Just tighten to the point that the adapter does not move on the mounting bar. The included tubing and U brackets have been tested on a Touratech 12mm GPS mount. If you cannot get a tight fit, you may need to wrap some electrical tape over the split tubing for the U brackets to bite into more. Secure the wiring with zip ties. |
![]() | Use the two pointed screws to secure the bracket cover to the top of the adapter. Do not overtighten. |
